19" Modules Modules in 19" form factor are a standard for international instrumentation. In this context, there are two different systems. AEROSpice BOXED These 19 inch modules are available as closed functional cassettes. The only additional item they require to fulfil their respective functions is a power supply.  AEROSpice Modular instrument technology in 19“ format makes it possible to adapt a myriad of signals to the standard signal levels of computer systems in the smallest amount of space. A 19“ carrier board of type CAR4xx or CAR5xx, powered by a type PS1561 power supply, is always the physical basis for such a unit. Up to four instrument modules can be plugged into these carrier boards. Communication between the computer system and the carrier board is accomplished over RS485, CAN bus or analogue (+/-10 V) signals.
