The Switch Load and Signal Conditioning (SLSC) platform standardizes the “last mile” between the measurement device and the unit under test (UUT) in hardware and software.
SET offers a wide variety of different signal conditioning cards to interface UUTs. The platform is designed to allow effective development of additional cards in terms of cost and time.
The RTIs contact the signal and power connector of the SLSC card and provide a powerful and flexible solution to connect a wide range of industrial measurement equipment.
Suitable for our SLSC cards and RTIs we offer various accessories like SET SMARTbrick modules for the SET Modular Cards 14XX as well as various cables and suitable tools.
What is SLSC?
SLSC is the platform for signal conditioning, routing and faulting. SLSC offers on the one hand standardized connections and on the other hand a modular approach for signal conditioning, fault simulation and more test requirements.
The standardization includes the complete signal chain from a PXI or cRIO over the SLSC Chassis all the way to the connector front end of the test system as well as any needed cables and mechanical equipment. On the software side, a consistent National Instruments (NI) LabVIEW API is provided to offer uniform detection and control of the signal conditioning and switching cards.

When building test systems, the signal path from the Device/Unit Under Test (D/UUT) to the instrument requires additional elements for custom signal conditioning, loading with loads and switching.
Previously, HiL testing required custom signal conditioning and internally developed simulation loads to connect and test the D/UUT to the DAQ & ECU. Recognizing this, National Instruments developed the SLSC architecture.
The SLSC architecture is modular and consists of the SLSC chassis, modules (cards) and Rear Transition Interfaces (RTIs).
