wide bandgap power semiconductors<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With their competence in the domain of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-e-tech.de\/en\/semiconductor\/semiconductor-testing\/\"><u>power semiconductors<\/u><\/a>, SET ensures that e-mobility will become even more efficient in the future. \u201eBy means of the newly developed test platforms, we managed to prove that prior lifetime models for silicon carbide semiconductors were insufficiently encompassing \u2013 and that some of the semiconductors installed in EVs lose 15% of their efficiency within very little time,\u201d says Frank Heidemann.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>The new testing procedure helps improve the quality of power semiconductors to further expand the reach of
